I love this little felt bird family which I have handsewed for Immy using the free
Spool Sewing pattern.
They were really easy to make. I printed the pattern at full size and about 3/4′s as well so that I had two different sized birds in the family, cut them from my little felt collection, hand sewed them with embroidery thread and then stuffed them.
I have decided to keep them plain after toying with the idea of embroidering eyes or adding contrasting felt wings. And ours won’t become a mobile but live in a nest close by for play.

I am a complete bird-nerd, so we have a lot of birdy things in our home. I can't WAIT to make these gorgeous felty feathered friends. Thanks for the link to the pattern!
