Warm and Cosy Winter Fun with Pumpkin Patch

Long time readers of Childhood 101 will know that I love practical, comfortable clothes for kids which allow them to move in the way small people should.

Unfortunately, winter coats can often be big, bulky and uncomfortable, restricting the child’s movement, a la Michelin Man style šŸ™‚

Which is why I was very excited to find this soft and comfortable, super warm jacket in the mail care of the creative minds behind Pumpkin Patch clothing for kids. As well as being practical for busy kids, the Velour Bubble Jacket looks classically gorgeous with big wooden buttons for fastening at the front and added as detailing on the back (see below) and a cute Little Red Riding Hood hood. The jacket is fully lined with a soft red and white spotted cotton/polyester blend fabric and it was plenty warm enough, even on a cold morning.

We test drove it last week, early on a cold Winter’s morning with friends and it was perfect for climbing, jumping, playing with balloons, running away from Mummy and even rolling down freshly mown hills!

Check out the Pumpkin Patch big patch sale which is on now for great savings in store and online.

P.S. The Velour Bubble Jacket is on sale online too!

Tee hee. I love that your "cold winter" morning looks pretty similar to the chilly summer mornings we've had here in Nova Scotia for the past few weeks. Immy even has her shoes off!

  3. Oh, that's a gorgeous jacket! We love Pumpkin patch clothes too… comfy, well made and so nice! Wish they weren't so expensive over in SG though…
