We Play: Everyday

We received this pack of Wiggles story cards in a show bag from our state agricultural show. Immy loves it when we take turns to make up stories about the adventures of this colourful foursome.

Whenever Immy tells the story, the rain card ALWAYS features and provides a dramatic diversion to the Wiggles’ plans, it is greatly amusing. I am planning to make some other, non-character specific story cards, maybe from magazine pictures? Any suggestions??

My favourite post from last week??? Well you know how much I love garland, right? Well, check out this great idea for repurposing a child’s artwork, I can imagine variations of this garland adorning our dining room on Christmas Day.

What have you been playing this week?

  1. We did something similar the other day by taking turns to contribute a sentence to a story.

I like your idea of creating some non-character specific story cards. I've been picking up old damaged kids books from op shops for using in collages and craft. Using pictures from childrens books may be more appealing to kids than magazie pictures?
