Best of 2013: Positive Parenting
2013 was a year of ups and downs for me as a parent…though when I think about it, isn’t every year? There are days, like today, when I feel like (at least for the most part) I’ve nailed it and days, like yesterday, when I know that I still have so much more to learn! Thanks to the support of a wonderful partner, family and friends, and a whole lot of love and forgiveness, we somehow manage to get through the challenging days, ready to pick up and start afresh with the dawn of the new day. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for the blank slate of each new day!
And when I read through the comments on posts such as the most popular parenting posts of 2013 listed below, I know that there are parents all around the world doing their best for their family with what they have. I take comfort from and am thankful for each of you who stop by, especially to those who share your own experiences, lessons and insights. Let’s hope 2014 brings us all peace, patience and positivity, whatever we face on our parenting journey.
