Printable Lunch Box Love Notes

I admit I’ve more than a little haphazard when it comes to adding lunch box love notes to Immy’s lunch box – it it most certainly not something that happens everyday! However late last year I felt that she needed a little extra encouragement and so one day I sat down and wrote a whole collection of little notes on coloured paper. Then it was super easy to pop one in as I packed her lunch box each morning. And she really loved it.

In fact, she noticed if I accidentally missed a day! I am thinking seven is a great age for lunch box notes as most children are then old enough to be able to read your message of encouragement independently, while still being young enough to not think it’s totally daggy to receive a little love note from your mum…at least that’s my theory, and I am sticking with it!

She’s about to turn eight and as we head back to school next week I plan on continuing our lunch box love note exchange…for as long as she’ll let me at least! I’ve printed a stack of these lunch box notes and will be filling them in tonight so they are ready to go, with a few left blank for days when there is a particular message of encouragement I think fits her plans for the day. And I’ve made this set of lunch box love notes printable so you can print some too.
