Get Organised for School: Printable School Bag Packing List

Tired of getting to school to realise your childforgot their reading book, library bag or homework folder again? Sick of nagging them to pack their school bag and having to remind them of which day it is and what they need to pack? Then this printable school bag packing list might just be the answer to taking a little of the stress out of your morning routine.

Print a copy to hang in your school bag area or school day launch pad. Mark the circles that correspond with the days of the week that your child needs to pack each item – I used dot stickers but you can just as easily colour them in – and you’ll have a handy visual prompt to help your child get organised. The list even includes extra spaces for you to add other items your child might need.

You can also laminate a copy to use as a checklist. Have your child tick off each item as it goes into their bag. At the end of the week, wipe the marks off and start again.

  2. Thank you so much. My daughter is significantly dyslexic and struggles with the morning routine. I’m going to print this for her tonight, it’s going to turn around or morning chaos. Thanks again.
