Printable Lego Challenge Cards for Kids

Inside: 24 printable Lego Challenge Cards for kids. Great for times when kids need building inspiration!

“What should I build next?”

My girls both love to play with Lego, so much so that about a third of our rather large playroom is dedicated to the city they have built using various sets from the Lego Friends, Lego Elves and Lego City ranges, combined with buildings created from their own imagination using regular Lego brick sets and boards. It’s actually quite amazing!

But every now and then Miss 9 gets stuck and comes to me for suggestions for what to build next.

She loves the challenge of building new things, often taking inspiration from the kids Lego books on our shelf, but sometimes even that is not enough. I love that these construction challenges put both sides of her brain to work, she’s using her imagination whilst also brainstorming and problem solving, and so this school holidays I created some Lego construction challenge cards that are super handy for those “I don’t know what to build” moments.

The cards challenge kids to create all sorts of things from Lego – buildings, vehicles, places, even themselves!

And they are not just for big kids. Miss almost-5 has been having a lot of fun building too. Here is her very cool chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, rainbow birthday cake!
