2D Lego Mosaics: 3 Printable Circus Designs

Following the popularity of our printable animal themed Lego mosaics, I started working on a second set – this time CIRCUS themed! These mosaics are fun for primary/elementary school aged children, as they really are more challenging then you might think. There is lot’s of sorting, matching, counting, adding, subtracting, even dividing and multiplying involved in completing each picture as the patterns don’t actually tell you which Lego bricks to use. There are lots of different brick combinations that can work in completing each picture.

The set includes a clown, a circus tent and a strongman. And you can substitute your own brick colours based on your Lego collection. We use a large baseboard (either a 32 stud or a 48 stud, the designs will fit on either) and we have quite a few tubs of loose bricks – like these Classic Creative Brick Boxes.

And Immy had so much fun helping to put these together that she is now working on a set of her very own! This is her acrobat 🙂 Be sure to encourage your child to have a go at putting together their own Lego pictures too.

To download and print: Click on your choice of pattern images below. This will open a PDF file for each design. Download or save the PDF to your own computer. Open the PDF and print. When printing, select “Fit to printable area” (or similar) to ensure the page fits with your printer type and local paper size (these have been created at A4 size). For durability, print onto matte photo paper or lightweight cardstock and laminate. Personal, non commercial use only.
