Two Quick & Easy Christmas Reindeer Ideas Kids Will Love

Two quick and easy Christmas ideas to involve children on holidays in, that I can lay absolutely no claim to! These came from a good friend. She just happens to be a wonderful baker (not at all culinary challenged like me!) and I LOVE these upside down gingerbread men that have been transformed into reindeer 🙂 A raspberry lolly nose and some icing is all it takes.

This reindeer food came from her daughter’s school. I believe it is raw oats mixed with chopped up tinsel (though hundreds and thousands, glitter, tiny stars would also work). The message reads;

“Sprinkle on your lawn at night,
The moon will make it sparkle bright.
When Santa’s reindeer fly and roam,
This will guide them to your home.”

So much fun 🙂

  1. Oh those upside down biscuits as reindeer are WAY cool! My Mum LOVES reindeer so I’m saving this idea to make for her next year!
    My boy got magic reindeer food from his kinder teachers… lots of fun!

  2. Want to comment on the reindeer food, so make it more animal friendly you might want to switch out the glitter for colored sugar. It will still give sparkle, maybe less, but don’t have to worry about an animal getting sick from eating it.

  3. Those ideas are really great! I especially like the reindeer food craft, it’s really creative and children will go nuts over it. I’ll share this with our intern teachers to use in their kindergartens. Thanks so much for the brilliant crafts!

  4. wow the reindeer cookies is really creative! I didn’t see that it was upside down gingerbread men until you mentioned it ;p
