Six more sleeps until school goes back for a new school year for us! And for the first time ever I am going to have two in school (albeit one part time) and two lunch boxes to pack. I am hoping to be extra organised so that our mornings continue to run smoothly and so I have been on the scout for recipes that are simple to bake and freeze ahead of time. Here are 25 that I think are worth a look.

Savoury Lunch Options
Homemade Sausage Rolls via The Organised Housewife
Mini Pizza Bites via Mum in the Madhouse
Freezer Tips: For best results when freezing baked goods, allow the food to cool completely before freezing in individual portions. I like to freeze things on a baking tray/sheet, spread out so that the items aren’t touching, and then once frozen transfer the items into a freezer safe bag or container.

Chilli, Cheese & Ham Muffins via The Diary of a Frugal Family

Freezer Tips: Wrap individual muffins or un-iced cupcakes in plastic cling wrap and then double bag the batch in freezer safe zip cloze bags (removing all of the air from the bag before sealing) to prevent freezer burn.
Muffins – Sweet
Apple, Sultana (Raisin) & Oat Muffins – bake and freeze the non-custard version of this recipe
