One thing I have had to rediscover since becoming a Mum is the art of wearing necklaces. When I worked, I pretty much wore interesting, long, chunky, costume chains and beads everyday. Once I had Immy, I sort of got out of the habit of choosing a necklace to go with my outfit as they got in the way when I was breastfeeding or would be tugged constantly by named baby. Recently, I have rediscovered this lost (to me) art and I quite enjoy that little bit of glamour hanging around my neck.
So it was with great excitement that I recently received a parcel of goodies from the fantastically talented team at Jack Be Nimble. Jacqueline, Alister, Celia and Kelly are four very talented individual designers who have teamed up to develop an online presence. Their jewellery is fun and affordable, and as each designer brings their unique style to the team, there is definitely something for everyone in the Jack Be Nimble range.
Jacqueline uses a range of interesting materials in her designs, including textiles and ribbon. I love the ribbon idea as I think it is so practival for Mums with young children. Plus it doesn’t look too overly dressy for everyday wear.
Alister’s work is very graphic with lots of beautiful, black detailing. Many of his pieces feature black faceted glass which is incredibly sexy and dramatic. I am completely in love with the piece in the photo above!
Celia is a master when it comes to attention to detail and delicacy. I adore all of the little details; the piece pictured above includes crystals in the centre of the rose plus the sweet little Jack Be Nimble icon, can you see it?
Kelly’s work is classic sophistication with a twist. Her woven pearl designs are divine and her range includes beautiful chunky bracelets as well.
A few more to look at, to inspire your inner ‘glamourzon.’ Can you pick who designed each of these pieces?
