Yesterday afternoon we headed off to the park for a walk and a play (and to chase some ducks!) Whilst we were there Immy found a large stick and picked it up. I said, “That’s a big stick,” but I should have known better as it wasn’t a stick, it was a ….
…vacuum cleaner! Immy immediately started vacuuming the lawn, accompanied by a wonderful ‘Brrrrrrrrrr’ sound.
Immy loves to vacuum and it is a familiar theme in our play. Her favourite vacuum is her long handled plastic rake. I have nearly fallen over her more than once as she follows me, just one step behind, around the house every time I vacuum.
Even my long handled slotted spoon became a vacuum last week!
Isn’t it wonderful the way their imagination works!
