I finally felt up to opening my Google Reader this week and boy was it bursting at the seams. As always there was lots and lots of inspired goodness to be found.
Here are just a few of the small pleasures I found online ..
:: This easy and tasty orange cake care of Inner Pickle.
:: Plus the love of the the toddler who helped me make it – though this one was found IRL 🙂
:: Words of wisdom from A Magical Childhood. I dream of a day when all parents can truly believe these words.
:: The inspiring story of Do Fun Stuff, a kids album for parents (you know, music that kids will love but which doesn’t drive parents crazy on the 4034th listen) which launched on iTunes this week to raise awareness and research funds for Smith Magenis Syndrome. Have a listen here (or below if blogger is co-operating) and buy a copy to support this wonderful cause. One person truly can make a difference in this world.
:: To see my words (albeit written a wee while ago) in ‘print,’ well kinda 🙂
I also saw an fantastic studio/craftroom makeover (which I now can’t find the link for!) which has inspired me to sort out my study and get busy making over my own creative space. That is where I will be hiding this weekend, well, except when I pop out to buy paint. What are your thoughts on green? Or maybe red?? Yellow???
