Sponsor Spotlight: Soup for Mums + A Giveaway

This post is sponsored by Soup. Julia of Soup writes;

Most people love getting the chance to try new products before anyone else, and also having an opportunity to provide feedback on products direct to the brand themselves. Mums especially rely strongly on other mum’s opinions, those who have been there, done that. And what mum doesn’t love passing on some words of wisdom to other mums from their own experience with products?

This is where Soup comes in. Soup is a community of people who have signed up to help brands develop and promote their products. The way it works is once you join Soup, you’ll be invited to participate in projects. Projects range from being sent products to try (and samples to share around), told about new services for you to road test, or the opportunity to win prizes. After that Soup will ask you for your honest opinion (good or bad) so that your feedback can help develop better products for everyone.

Soup Mama’s and their families have trialled the following product types over the last year: air fresheners, wine, snacks for them, snacks for their children, moisturiser, beer, new books, yoghurt, coffee, chocolate, new nappy innovations, and taken part in education campaigns as well that inform them about products and health issues that help them with the well being of their family. See what they’ve said about the various products here.

A few quotes that show how much Soupers love being part of Soup:

“It always brightens my day when my Soup parcel arrives. I’d let my kids open it & they’d go  WOW!!! . Really really enjoyed it & gave me something extra to chat about with my friends & neighbours  especially since we all have kids & we want the best & safest products for our children. Thanks very very much for making this a special & wonderful experience for me  my kids & friends!” Valerie, 30

“I thought this program was great! I have never been on anything like it and feel like I am part of the Soup team. The products are great and I was proud to share them with my friends and family. I don’t think a skin care brand has ever had this type of big impact on my before. “ Joanne, 38

“Thanks for choosing me to be part of the program.  I can say that you’ve won the hearts of a lot of people.  I hope I’ll get to be involved in future programs again.  =)” Gay, 34

Soup have some exciting projects coming up: including more wine tasting, more beauty products, yummy brand new food products that haven’t yet hit the supermarkets, health advice for your pets, and an innovative new product for new mums.

To join, head on over to Soup!

Think I found the recent reviews section on their page. Not sure if thats where was meant to go to but I think the book reviews would be my thing. Could do with a new novel. Or the night serum! Hitting 40 v v soon and the wrinkles seem to be multiplying Just signed up as a Souper Mum (ha ha - thought I had given up on that myth a while back) and keen to see how it works, what products we get to review. Good stuff!

I would love to have been involved in the Huggies Wipes trial. With a toddler and 2 other young children we go through lots of wipes. I love my Huggies Wipes so would love to be involved in trialing their latest product to see the improvements they are making. Just joined as a Souper and can't wait to try out the new products.

My name is Anj and I'm a Book-aholic. That's right, even though I spend a good portion of my working day reading manuscripts from new and established authors, I STILL can't get enough! So, obviously, I would have loved to have been part of the projects reviewing "Major Petigrew's Last Stand" or "Beyond Fear". Of course, a good glass of Taylor's Estate Wine would go well with any book...

I am getting married in a month & need all the help i can get:) I don't suppose there's a sample of fairy-to- help - organise - a - reception - at- home - for - 100 - people...?

I agree with the Sarahs - I too would love to have been involved in the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum Eyes - to help with the ever-growing crows feet. Otherwise the Taylors Estate Wines - after a few glasses, maybe I wouldn't see the wrinkles anymore.

The Philips Steam System Iron. My hubby works 60hour weeks as a chef, so there is a lot of ironing to be done and our current iron requires a lot of elbow grease to get those creases out. I read some of those reviews on the iron and it sounds great - is it too late to join the review ;) ;)

I would have loved to have been involved in the testing of the Quantum dishwasher tablets. I am yet to find a dishwasher tablet that cleans properly and disolves properly at a reasonable price! After reading the review on Quantum, looks like I might have to give them a go! I've just become a souper and am really looking forward to test driving some products!

I have been a soup member for a while now but rarely get offered anything to try :-( Maybe I need to re-adjust my settings as it looks like there has been heaps of good things to try lately?!?!

The Philips Steam System Iron - I would have loved to have tested a new iron to see if it made life any easier! I hate ironing and I hate to admit that my 2 year old daughter recently asked me what an iron was in one of her picture books!

I would have loved to have been involved in reviewing The Panasonic VIErA Full-HD 3D Neo Plasma TV. I'm a sole parent/ stay at home mum to two very gorgeous little boys who have an endless supply of energy. I spend my days playing dress ups with them, riding my bike around the chalk road on our driveway pretending to be a policeman. being a horse galloping along the footpath instead of just walking. making all sorts of box creations. Helping the boys to cook and then cleaning up all the mess. Washing and ironing mountain loads of clothes.......... but at 7pm every night I have me time. I would love nothing more than to sit back and relax watching movies on this awesome looking tv

Definitely the Canon Pixma printer project, because I've always had problems with printers, especially with connecting them to my computer. (Which cord goes where). A cordless printer that I could actually use ... I would love to see that. And finally I could print all those photos on my hard drive and all the receipts etc, from online shopping and banking.

Oh so many to pick from!! I know our 15 month old would of loved the Bonjela to help all these nasty teeth. Our 3 year old she would of LOVED to try the hands free Dettol as she is obsessed with washing her hands and teaching her little sister how to wash and apply the no rinse hand gels! That would be one less job for mummy with cleaning of the water that gets all over the bathroom bench. I know i would of loved the compeed patches a few weeks ago as the stress from january 10 floods, displaced family, sick children, over tired mummy all leaded to a cold sore breakout! BUT the TV would certainly be welcome and my husband and I might of been able to watch a movie in style then on the little tv we have. So hard to pick just one!!

Twinkle, twinkle little stars I'm throwing out the soap bars I'd wish you remember to lift the seat, Then aim at the bowl, not hands or feet. Twinkle, twinkle little stars everyone wonders how messy you are Twinkle , twinkle, my little vegiemites thank the stars Dettol no touch hand wash brings dirty hands back to white.

I would have loved to be involved in the Westfield Whitfords City Styling Session. I just never know how to choose and put together clothes. After having a baby I would love to know how to buy clothes to make me look good, so that I can wear more than the jeans and three tshirts that I rotate!
