Our Play Space: Inspired to Create!

We have three little ones and one of our family values is creativity and it’s something that this play space hopes to nurture.

On the wall, we rotate famous artworks, bible verses and/or the kids’ art- something to inspire and appreciate. It hopefully shows how we value our kids’ art and anything framed tends to be special!

On the table, we keep 2 large paper pads. The kids are greeted with blank paper every morning and are invited to create something. The drawing utensils tend to stay the same- we invested in good colouring pencils and crayons, dot markers, textas and chalk. We rotate the texta tins and sometimes add a tin with various hole punchers. The scissors and tape are kept on another bench where our eldest can access it and the other drawing books and magazines are also kept close by.

The chalk board wall has evolved into a autograph wall for the kids’ friends (and some of ours) and it’s a nice backdrop.

Thank you Christine for sharing your special creative space with us, it is truly inspiring 🙂
