What a weekend it has been! I had the privilege of travelling to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday for the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards ceremony on Friday night.
And excitingly, Childhood 101 won the award for Best Parenting Blog for the second time in a row (the previous awards were in 2009). To say that I was excited, overwhelmed, surprised and amazed would be an understatement! Especially with all of these pregnancy hormones!!
The night was amazing. It really is the Oscars of blogging in the Asia Pacific region and I thank Nuffnang for including my blog again (especially the local Australian Nuffies – you guys are awesome!) Thank you also to Kate, Cath, Sarah, Tricia, Naomi and Christine for their contributions to the blog this year. Thank you to Dad 101, Immy and my family for their support ever since I took up this blogging caper back in 2009. Thank you to Air Asia X for bringing me here and to all of the event sponsors – especially the Marriott Putrajaya (the hotel has been wonderful) and Olympus – thank you so much for the XZ-1!
And to you, the readers and supporters of Childhood 101, you make this all possible, thank you.
