Best of 2013: Kid’s Art Ideas
The most exciting event of 2013 would have to have been the launch of my book, Time to Create: Hands On Explorations in Process Art for Young Children. Who would have thought that I would write a book?!? Certainly not me! The role of art and creativity as a vehicle for children to use to communicate their ideas, learning and feelings is a message I am passionate about and I hope those parents and educators working with young children who have read Time to Create have found inspiration and practical ideas for supporting children in their artistic endeavours.
Ideas for art projects for children of all ages continue to be popular here on the blog as well and the six listed below topped the list for most popular kid’s art ideas in 2013…
Good, Old Fashioned Scratch Art
DIY Soap Crayons: Made By Kids
Using Creative Materials to Develop Hand Strength
Creative Play for Babies & Toddlers: Sticky Art
