A Little Housekeeping

I don’t know about you but the lead up to the holiday season always feels to me like a good time to get our house in order – a bit of a pre-Christmas spring clean if you like. My plan this week is to spend a little time (remember I am all for small, achievable steps) getting things organised around our home. I am thinking toy clean up, cupboard sort out, wardrobe shake up…that sort of thing.  If you would like to join me, I will be posting my tasks for each day on the Childhood 101 Facebook page.

Speaking of Facebook, I don’t know if you have noticed but even if you LIKE a page, Facebook is most likely not showing you all of the updates from that page. Annoying, huh?

There is however now a quick and easy way to stay up to date with your favourites. To make sure you don’t miss out on any of our fun ideas, go to the Childhood 101 page and hover your cursor over the Liked button. A little drop down menu will appear, choose Get Notifications to receive an alert each time I update the page. I only update a couple of times a day (at most) so I promise you won’t get spammed 🙂  And if it doesn’t work for you you can always turn the notification off again. If you do this before Monday, you’ll be sure to catch each of the prompts for the pre-Christmas clean up.

It is also a great idea to regularly Like or comment on the updates from your favourite pages too, that lets Facebook know that you want to see more of the page’s content in your Newsfeed.

What do you say, are you ready for a bit of a pre-holiday sort out and clean up?
