12 Christmas Action Songs & Finger Plays for Preschool & Kindergarten

Inside: A fun collection of Christmas action songs & finger plays for preschool & kindergarten.

One of the best things about Christmas has to be the music, right? In fact, it’s not unusual for carols and Christmas songs to be played in our house before October even ends! And while many traditional carols may be beyond younger children, there are plenty of fun Christmas action songs and finger plays that are perfect for toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners. Plus, they’re fun for bigger kids too!

Below you’ll find twelve awesome Christmas songs for kids, all of which have fun actions or are in the form of a finger play rhyme. Many of them are variations of common, traditional children’s songs and rhymes. And if you scroll all of the way down, you’ll even find a set of free, printable song sheets and song cards to download and print!

And for even more festive holiday songs, check out our collections of Christmas Songs for Toddlers & Preschoolers and Christmas Brain Breaks for songs and dances to get kids moving and grooving.
