Let's hope this nocturnal gymnastics doesn't mean this precious little babe is a fan of being awake all night with mummy in about 12 weeks time. Taleea was my most active baby at night (while I was pregnant) and she turned out to be our best sleeper! You just can't predict it. I wish I had some remedies to tell you about for leg cramps, but I am sorry that I am not aware of any.

hey, just to share with you, when I had L.A, I had legs cramp starting at my early trimester, doc told me that I did not had sufficient calcium, although I have taken 600mg on daily basis. Since I don't take dairy, doc suggested to take on 1200mg of calcium tablet, and that was the solution to my leg cramp during pregnancy. :)

When I had leg cramps with my number 1 (and they were rotten!) my Doc told me to take calcium + vitamin D (there are a number of brands of vitamins that sell this combo) - worked within a day or so - brilliant! This time round I've not had cramps yet, but restless legs (which seems almost as bad) and Doc told me to take magnesium - also fixed within a day or so. Hope it sorts out soon!

Thank you for the advice, I am seeing my Dr this week and will ask about the calcium and vitamin D.

I have heard doctors recommend people (not pregnant ones though) with leg cramps both magnesium and calcium but you have to be careful exactly which preparation you take. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to be on the safe side before you take anything. Water too is supposedly good for preventing cramping.

Look at that gorgeous tum! Hope the cramps settle. I also took extra calcium and magnesium during my last pregnancy and it was the only one that I didn't have shocking cramps through. Thinking of you! Lusi x

Time has just flown! Getting so much closer! O I hated leg cramps - I'd had no idea they were so painful! I'd let out a big yelp in the middle of the night and my hubby would think I was being murdered. Hmm. Suddenly remembering all the heartburn and reflux I'd forgotten about as well. I hope you find something for the leg cramps.

The yelping in the middle of the night sounds incredibly familiar :) Time is indeed flying by, way too fast if you ask me!
