Our Play Space: Creating a Magical Fairy & Gnome Play Garden

We have a magical Secret Garden in our backyard. My son and I put it together and are still adding to it. He has helped with planting plants and painting a fairy house, we have made a fairy beach, a gnomes house, a little swing and a ladder that goes to the gnomes lookout.

It is full of magical lights, gnomes, and castles. My son loves to play around with his gnomes and pretend a troll lives under the bridge or just swing in the tree and tell me made up stories of the mythical creatures who live there.

With thanks to Renee of Adventures at Home With Mum for sharing this magical play space with us. You can read more about this special space (and see lots more photos too) here.

Do you have a play space to share? Submit your play space here and you too could be featured on Childhood 101. Be sure to visit the previous Our Play Space posts for more playful kids decor inspiration!
