Our Play Space: Space for Reading and for Play

A peek inside a reader’s play space…

With a mum is who a teacher librarian in a primary school, this play space was always going to be a bit book-centric, and perhaps a little over organised…librarians do so love a label or three…as do librarians four year old daughters!

Having just built a few extra rooms in downstairs, we now have a playroom, and it’s a bit like the dishwasher; I don’t know how I survived without it. No longer are toys strewn across every surface in every room. Well that is the idea in theory. Clearly the reality is different but at least the toys now have a home. Books I’m happy to  have strewn throughout the house, toys not so much.

Explore more of this fun, booky play space over at Children’s Books Daily. Megan’s post includes heaps of great photos that clearly show how much her family love this space.
