Our Play Space: The Play Dr’s Office
A peek inside a reader’s play space…
This is my play room at my office. I mainly conduct child-centered play therapy in which the child directs the play to facilitate communication, relationship, and healing. I have a large variety of toys … dress-up, puppets (hung on a shoe rack), building toys, small animals and creatures, a variety of dolls, books, games, 2 dollhouses, vehicles, etc. Each has it’s own place … and returns and stays there after each session … that way children know where it is and that it will be there upon his/her return.
Thank you to Play Dr Mom for sharing a peek inside such a special and unique play space with us.
