Preschool Christmas Tree Craft Idea
Looking for a simple Christmas tree craft to enjoy with your toddler or preschooler? Much like our Popstick Christmas Tree Garland craft, this Christmas tree uses just a few, common craft materials and provides a great fine motor workout to strengthen little muscles of the fingers and hands too.
Christmas Tree Craft Instructions
You will need:
- Green Cupcake Wrappers
- Craft Sticks
- Star Stickers
- Sequins
- Glue
Instructions:
1. Fold three cupcake wrappers in half and then in half again. Glue each section of the fold down to make sure it stays flat.
2. Glue one folded wrapper to the centre of a craft stick. Then, glue the second wrapper on top of the first and the third wrapper on top of the second to create a tiered effect.
3. Decorate the cupcake wrapper tree by gluing on an assortment of stars and sequins.
The completed Christmas tree can also be glued with strong white craft glue to the front of a piece of folded cardstock to make a Christmas card.
