So we are two thirds of the way through sharing the original Star Wars trilogy with our girls and Immy is loving it. While she is fascinated by the idea of a good stormtrooper, it will be a while before we let her see the latest movie release, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but in the meantime we are having plenty of fun adding Star Wars elements to regular play – with the shadow puppets, matching cards and now a brand new set of Lego Mosaic patterns.
We had a great time putting these together but they are challenging and definitely better suited to school aged Star Wars fans.
For the set we created R2D2, C3PO, Darth Vadar and a Stormtrooper. After they have had fun with our mosaics, you could challenge your children to create some of their other favourite movie characters as mosaics too.
C3PO and Darth Vadar were most definitely the trickiest to design!

Do you have any pint-sized Star Wars fans in your home?
