12 Winter Finger Plays & Action Songs

This collection of twelve Winter finger plays and action songs is perfect for getting younger children moving when colder days or inclement weather mean more time spent indoors.

Winter finger plays and action songs

Singing and performing the actions that accompany these finger plays and action songs encourages the development of both gross and fine motor skills, including body awareness and co-ordination.

This collection of Winter themed finger plays and action songs is perfect for both teachers and parents to use at daycare, preschool, kindergarten or home. Each song below includes both the lyrics (in regular text) and actions (where appropriate, in italics).

Plus I’ve included a set of printable song cards so that you’ll always have the words and actions at your fingertips (find the details for downloading downloadable song card file at the end of the post).
