Kids Art: Rainbow Reflections

October 13, 2010

If you are a regular visitor to this humble space you might remember that I posted a little while ago about the fun Immy had painting on alfoil and how I planned to explore creating on a range of reflective surfaces. Well, life sort of got in the way and put us off track for a moment or two but we are slowly finding our way back. This week I asked Immy if she would like to do some painting on the window. Whilst we were getting the paints ready we were talking about what a big window it was and she decided that she would paint a BIG rainbow (we are very into rainbows around here!)
We painted on the outside of the window with children’s acrylic (makes it easy to wash off with a hose when we are ready to create a new artwork).
Our completed rainbow painting sure does brighten up our playroom :)

What have you been creating this week?

We've done this before too with fingerpaint, it's so much fun! Kids can also get some paper to print it up against the glass if they want to, as well:)
