Homemade Christmas Fun: A Simple ‘Tree’
You may remember the wool entwined branch from our Spring nature table? At the time that I made it, I thought that the concept may also work as a Christmas table centrepiece. So I tried again, this time with white wool, and I love the result.
I can imagine small wrapped gifts sitting under this ‘tree,’ you know, jewellry sized ones! In my dreams 🙂
Now if only the rest of Christmas was as simple as this tree…
Simple but very lovely! 🙂
That is so fantastic. Really helps bring some simplicity to the chaos that is Christmas.
thank you so much for this fabulous idea. I just may have to do for myself.
I have also shared on my whimsical parasol blog.

I hope there is at least one small jewel box under that beautiful tree.
How beautiful, yet simple, is that. P'haps a small item of jewellery on your family Christmas wish list. Just a thought.
Very simple, I love it!
Like a breath of fresh air in defiance of tinsel torture! Love it, especially with your lovely, lush green wall.
This is gorgeous Christie. Looks like it's from a page in a magazine.
Love it!!!
Good luck with the jewellry 🙂
Very sweet little tree. Thanks for sharing your lovely idea.
Also, what great giveaways you have listed in your recent posts. I have not signed up to enter, as we live in the USA and my sons are now nearly 5 and 7, but what cool presents the various giveaway items will be for some lucky families with little ones. Great giveaway items.
As always, I love your blog.

Hehehe… I've been doing a "stick" tree for years! You know me and sticks. I can't help myself 🙂
