February is Black History Month in both the USA and Canada, making it the perfect opportunity to learn about important contributions that people of color have made to the world. And what better way to learn about a significant figure than with a research project!
This set of Research a Black Inventor worksheets offers a perfect way to get started. Students can develop their research skills by choosing an African American inventor to learn more about. The worksheets contain a series of questions to act as prompts to guide your student’s research.
Research a Black Inventor Worksheets for Black History Month
This printable inventor research pack includes ten different black inventors. Those featured are;

- Alfred L Cralle: inventor of the ice cream scoop
- Annie Malone: invented hair care products for women of color
- Garrett Morgan: invented the traffic light
