Eating the Alphabet: Cooking with Kids from A to Z

Eating The Alphabet: Fruits & Vegetables From A to Z by Lois Ehlert is a beautifully illustrated alphabet book, perfect for introducing children to a range of new fruits and vegetables (with a host of already familiar ones scattered throughout as well).

I personally can think of no better way to optimise the learning potential of such a fabulous resource than with a series of kid friendly recipes that encourage them to explore the tastes and textures of the fruit and vegetables contained within its pages. So today I have collected together 26 recipes from A to Z that do just that. Whether you try one recipe, a few, or all of them I am sure you will have fun learning and cooking together.
