Get your students excited about the start of the new year (or new school term or semester) with this goal setting vision board for kids!
This printable vision board template makes goal setting super simple! Use the reflective prompts on the left hand side of the page to guide your students in setting relevant, personal goals that can help transform their thinking, habits and behavior, to help keep them focused on what is really important.
It’s the perfect goal setting process for parents, teachers, counselors and other educators to use with students working on developing social emotional learning skills related to goal setting, positive thinking and growth mindset.

This ready made vision board and goal setting printable is perfect for teachers of students in grades 4-12, and for home use by parents as a family or homeschooling activity.

To complete the goal setting vision board;
- Download the printable file below. The vision board worksheet is available in both US Letter and A4 paper sizes.
- Print onto white or colored paper or cardstock – I’ve deliberately stuck to print friendly black ink.
- Add your choice of colorful pens or markers – students can use words, pictures and drawings to complete the prompts included on the vision board printable.
- Guide students to reflect upon each of the prompts included on the left hand side of the page. These are;
• 3 words to describe me
• 3 things I am good at
• 3 things I feel grateful for
• 3 things I want to work on
• 3 activities I want to make more time for
• 3 things I want to learn more about - Create three goals for the year ahead, and for each follow the prompts to;
• Identify the goal
• Record why this goal is important to the student as an individual
• Record how the student will know when they have achieved the goal
