Playopedia Picks: Cooking with Kids

Playopedia

Playopedia now has age categories!

If you haven’t been over to Playopedia in the past few days you really should check out the brand new age categories – Baby (0-12 months), Toddler (12-36 months), Preschooler (3-5 years) and Bigger Kids (5+ years). Of course, many of the activities overlap into more than one category and as every child is individual in interests and developmental capabilities, I think it is still worth checking out activities that your child might enjoy from the other categories.

For those of you still on school break or holidays, have you had time for cooking with your kids during your time off together? If you are looking for inspiration, here are some great recipes from the Playopedia collection to get you started…

Pita Chips
Ice Cream Sundaes
Homemade Butter
Blueberry Scone
5 Cup Scones
Oat Biscuits
Tortilla Snowflakes
Edible Fingerpaint
Bread in a Bag
Mini Meringues

Be sure to check out Playopedia today because it’s been updated again this morning with a heap of new play ideas!

I love the edible finger paint idea, I am definitely making some up for the twins to paint with soon! Thanks for featuring my oat biscuits 🙂

Thank you for making Playopedia the brilliant resource it is. It is a treasure trove full of creative ideas !

We used the scone recipe featured here several times during the holidays and it was a hit with my cherubs. Simple and fun.
