Toddler Translation: Trust
trust [truhst] –noun
reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
– dictionary.com
I considered many photos for this week’s word – Immy being thrown in the air by her Dad or jumping into his outstretched arms at the swimming pool, or even Immy trusting herself as she walks along a wall. I decided on this one when I read the definition of ‘trust’ at dictionary.com. To me this photo epitomises strength, surety and confidence. I love that Immy loves and trusts her Dad so much. And the rings on his fingers – they represent the trust and love that he and I have in each other and our little family.

I am in love with that shot! Would be gorgeous on the wall… trust is a beautiful thing.
I really dont think we as a human race could possibly survive without it.
I don't have a toddler anymore so I won't play along but I wanted to share that my family has a deep trust in God. Having trust in God gives us a purpose and peace in life and we have someone to rely on when we have no strength left to 'do life' on our own.
I know not everyone sees trust this way, or believes in a 'power above' so sorry if these thoughts offend anyone.
Psalm 28:7 "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped."
It reminds me of my son just today…he is one and starting to take a few steps he holds onto my hand to guide him then walks on his own….this picture just put a few tears in my eyes

I did it again this week. I love your photo, mine is the typical sort of trust pic but I love the last one esp.
