Top 10 for 2010: Have you seen these?

What were the ten most popular Childhood 101 posts this year?

Well, you must like homemade fun as there were plenty of DIY 4 Kids projects in the top ten!

The absolute #1 post this year was thanks to a couple of packing boxes and the need for some organisation – the DIY Kids: Kitchen Buffet Tutorial.

The Toddler Friendly Sewing Basket came in at #2 (if you’ve made one, please email me through some photos, I would love to see).

And the Let’s Dress Up: Butterfly Mask Tutorial and Princess Hat Tutorial were very popular as well.

Creating fabulous play spaces for our children is obviously a shared joy as both Space to Play [and Learn]: 10 Tips for Creating Great Play Spaces and Inspiring ‘At Home’ Play Spaces both made the top ten. Organising Kids Stuff: Small Homes was there too, with lots of interest also in Make Pack Away Time Fun and The Case for NOT Packing Away (though technically that one doesn’t count as it was published just shy of 2010!)

Asking Questions Which Encourage Creative Thinking had lots of us thinking before we spoke and Does Bullying Begin at Preschool? kicked off a series which shows that many of us are concerned about bullying as an issue for our kids.

Rounding out the top ten was 10 Easy Things To Cook With Kids and a popular Kids Art post, Tissue Paper Collage.

Thank you for being a fantastic support in 2010. Remember tomorrow is the final We Play for this year and be sure to visit Wednesday when I share a little exciting news for 2011.

I am so glad you posted this! I was searching my e-mail for the sewing basket and couldn't find it and was very sad because I want to duplicate it for my 4 and 2 year olds for Christmas. Now I can, YEAH!!!!!
