Gobsmacked!
All I can say is ‘WOW!’ Not only have I had the absolute privilege of seeing beautiful Singapore, meeting many wonderful bloggers and attending the inaugural Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards ceremony, but to receive the award for Best Parenting Blog! Wow!
A few photos whilst I regain my composure again…
Immy and I hit the red carpet. Immy was without a doubt the second most photographed blogger of the evening, runner up to the beautiful Xiaxue who took home a staggering 3 awards herself.

Up on stage to receive our award, I am sure it was the only one to be coated in chewed bean which Immy was eating at the time!
The beautiful glass trophy.I stood on the stage and said absolutely none of the things that I should have said as I was honestly gobsmacked. So, my heartfelt thanks go to Nuffnang and all of the wonderful sponsors, especially Pringles, Uniquely Singapore and Canon (the second part of our prize is a wonderful Canon video camera). Thank you to DH and Immy, without you both none of this would be possible. Thank you to the hundreds of families I have worked with as a teacher, thank you for sharing your childhood journeys with me, you have all made my journey into parenthood so much richer and easier. To the readers and commenters on Childhood 101, thank you too. It is great to know that you are all out there reading and sharing your own stories.
Also, a massive thank you to those bloggers who have shown me the way as I have embarked on this blogging journey. I have received so much support and help from so many wonderful blogging women and I am truly grateful for it.
I don't have to tell you how much we love you (just you being you) but we are so proud of you for working so hard on your blog and winning this inaugural competition. Can't wait for you to be back home and hear all about the excitement of the evening, receiving the award etc. We sincerely hope this will be the beginning of an even bigger and better
future for you and your family.

You know what , you actually inspired me (I am not sure why , but when i heard you spoke that you are a teacher and you want to share things you know with the reader , i just got inspired) to open a blog that the content is about teens and their parents.
