Suggestions for Use

Print the cards and laminate before use. They can be used in different ways, for example;

  • Before starting, have a student (or small group of students) place the cards in their preferred workout order. Pop on some music and have fun moving once across the room for each card.
  • Shuffle the cards and place them face down in a pile. Work through the pile of cards by picking up the top card and performing the movement activity pictured before moving on to the next card.
  • Randomly choose five cards for a short brain break. Perform each action for one minute.

    Very nice! These are very helpful for a mom of two like me. My children are currently enrolled in the home school program of an international school in the Philippines (www.georgia.edu.ph). Before we start our modules, I make sure they do a little stretching and exercise even if they are at home. Hope you can share more activities at home for the kids. More power to your blog!
