Other ways this list can be used;

  • Take a walk as a family and find an item for each of the letters around your neighbourhood
  • Place students into small groups and send them out on an alphabet hunt around the school
  • If completing the hunt outdoors, take a basket and collect loose treasures that you find along the way. You can even bring these items back indoors for use to in a nature collage or try making leaf faces.
  • Extend the learning by asking your child to take a photo of each item they include on their list as they find it

And if you enjoy this scavenger hunt, you can follow it up by taking our Family Scavenger Hunt on your next family walk.
