Holiday Mantlepiece Christmas Pop Up Card Printable
Available as a free printable, this holiday mantlepiece Christmas Pop Up Card makes a great Christmas activity idea for school age children.
The printable includes two versions of the pop up card insert – one with room for children to add their own holiday decor and the one shown in these images, with the decor in ready to colour.
Like our 3D Paper Folded Christmas Tree Card and Pop Up Christmas Tree card, the level of fine motor skill and concentration to complete this project independently is best suited to children in at least third grade and up.

Printable Christmas Pop Up Card
You will need:
- A printed copy of your choice of the mantlepiece card insert. There are two to choose from.
- Cardstock
- Markers or pencils
- Scissors
- Glue
How to make a Pop Up Christmas Card:
1. Print out a copy of the free mantlepiece card design (download instructions below). Cut around the picture and fold it in half. Then cut along the two dotted lines.
2. Fold the middle section in as shown.
3. Open up the picture.
4. Paste the picture onto a folded piece of cardstock to form the inside of the card.
5. Colour as desired and add a personal Christmas greeting.
