We have so much happening at the this time of the year – with it being the end of the school year in Australia and all that that entails, plus concerts and exhibitions for our out-of-school activities too. It can make the rush up to Christmas exhausting! So simple is the ONLY way to go. And these simply decorated Christmas cupcakes certainly fit the bill!
How to Make Reindeer Christmas Cupcakes
You will need:
- 12 vanilla cupcakes – we suggest you try our healthy vanilla cupcakes recipe
- Chocolate icing
- Red dot candy
- Icing piping kit
1. Ensure that your cupcakes are cool before decorating. Using a piping bag, frost each cupcake with chocolate icing.
Start along the edge of the cupcake and work your way in and up with the frosting.
Place iced cupcakes in the freezer for about 5 minutes to allow the icing to stiffen before adding the pretzels.
2. Next add a pretzel antler to each side of the cupcake. Use a little of the icing to help hold the pretzels in place.
3. Add a red candy to the top of each up cake as Rudolph’s nose.
And that’s it, couldn’t be easier! And easier is exactly what we want during the busy holiday season. All that’s left to do is serve and enjoy!
