The Last of the Puppet Madness

I promise!

Some beautiful ideas from the wider blogosphere…
Why not make a crow puppet just like this one from Ordinary Life Magic. This idea could easily be adapted to other types of birds- why not create a whole aviary?
Or some hand stamped popstick puppets aka Red Bird Crafts.
What child wouldn’t love these little stone dolls from Maya Made, easily adapted as puppets I believe.
From the self-confessed, glue-and-go goddess, SquiggleMum; put to good use all of your odd socks with a family of sock puppets.
And finally, Cat from Adventures with Kids, made this gorgeous paper roll family. Now you can star in your very own puppet show!

I also wanted to show you what Immy did this morning. When playing with her playdough, she went and found the popstick puppets that we made on Thursday (illustrated by her lovely cousin) and added them to her playdough play. They went on walks across the dough and stood up tall as Immy talked to them. Aren’t children’s imaginations inspirational!

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”
